DIRECTIONS & RULES FOR THE PHOTO CONTEST

Directions:

1. Create an account
2. Upload Photo.
   1. The picture file size should exceed 2MB. Recommended picture size in pixels in 1920px in width and 1080px in height.
   2. Photo must be a recent picture of Gate City, VA
   3. You must own the photo
   4. The person name listed on the account registration must be the person who took the picture.
   5. Must be over 18 years old to enter.
3. Photo will be approved in 24 hours.
4. Use the link provided to share photo with your friends. Votes will be tracked.  The winner of the Peoples Choice Award will be for the pictures with the most votes.  Only one vote per I.P. address will be allowed.
5. Bring your submitted photo to the Return to the River event that will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, starting at 10:00 AM. Event details are located  on the Return to the River event page.
6. The Peoples Choice Award and Overall Winner (to be determined by a panel of Judges) will be held during the Return to the River event.
7. Good luck! Remember to share your photo with your friends!

Rules:

1. The photographer(s) must be the author(s) of the pictures submitted in his/her/their name.
2. A picture can only be entered once
3. No nudity or obscene photos permitted.
4. No political themes or advertisements
5. Must bring photo to the Return to the River event held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 beginning at 10:00 AM. The photo will be displayed during the event.

Awards

                The Awards Ceremony will be held during the Return to the River event on Saturday, June 16, 2018.

There will be two categories:

Overall Winner (1 winner)- Will be judge by a panel of judges

People’s Choice (1 winner)  – Will be judge by Online Judging.
