SERGEANT FIRST CLASS NOAH TAYLOR, U.S. ARMY (Retired)
SFC Noah Taylor was born in Nickelsville Virginia. Noah is married to Elizabeth Taylor and has 2 daughters, Meagan Potts and Holly Taylor, and also has 3 grandchildren, Avery, Braden and Miley. He is currently Pastor of Greenwood Chapel Independent Baptist Church. He enlisted in the United States Army in October 1986. SFC Taylor spent 22 years on Active Duty and 11 years National Guard. He attended Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri, and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Upon completion of training, he was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 45K, Tank Turret Repairmen.

SFC Taylor’s assignments and duty positions include, 546th Maintenance Company, Parmesans Germany (Turret Mechanic); HHD 1030th Engineer Battalion, Gate City Virginia (Light Wheel Vehicle Mechanic, Retention NCO); 1031st Engineer Company, Gate City Virginia (Supply Sergeant), 1032nd Transportation Company, Gate City, Virginia (Supply Sergeant); 1030th Transportation Battalion, Gate City, Virginia (Senior Logistics NCO); 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Virginia Beach, Virginia (Senior Logistics NCO); Operation Enduring Freedom, Kuwait (Senior Logistics NCO) 329th Regional Support Group, Virginia Beach, Virginia (Senior Logistics Advisor).
