The Crooked Road – Mountains of Music Homecoming Celebration
The Town of Gate City will once again host the Clinch Mountain Music Fest on Saturday, June 17th, 2017. The event location will be on Jackson Street in downtown Gate City.
The goal of Clinch Mountain Music Fest is to preserve and perpetuate the heritage of the Appalachian region through it’s music. The festival recognizes our wonderful mountain music heritage as performed by old-timers and new-timers alike. There will also be local arts and crafts, cruise-in car show, poker run, and inflatables for the kids.
The event starts at 11:00 AM and is free! Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the afternoon in beautiful downtown Gate City, VA. Check out the event details.
The Clinch Mountain Music Fest is a part of the Mountain of Music Homecoming Festival featuring 9 days of events all along the Crooked Road from June 10th – 18th, 2016.
The Crooked Road is a celebrated year-round destination for traditional music lovers in southwest Virginia. During this nine-day celebration you will get to experience old-time, bluegrass, gospel, traditional singing and dance in over 25 different communities.
